Protecting God's People

S: "We are all afraid of you. Everyone in the land is living in terror. For we have heard how the LORD made a dry path for you through the Red Sea when you left Egypt. And we know what you did to Sihon and Og, the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan River, whose people you completely destroyed. No wonder our hearts have melted in fear! No one has the courage to fight after hearing such things. For the LORD your God is the supreme God of the heavens above and the earth below."
-Joshua 2:9b-11


O: "No wonder our hearts have melted in fear!" The Almighty God demonstrated His power last year by devastating the entire world with the Corona Virus pandemic. The whole world went into lockdown, and everything changed. I saw a lot of fear and panic amongst the people as they could not comprehend what was going on.

"We are all afraid of you. Everyone in the land is living in terror." Once the lost unbelievers finally acknowledge who God truly is, they should lose heart at the things they once had confidence in. No longer can they trust in politics, career, family, wealth, or possessions. "For the LORD [our] God is the SUPREME GOD of the heavens above and the earth below."


A: I need to be like Rahab and protect God's chosen people from our enemies. God has already won the battle against every opposition. He has anointed me to be His mighty warrior so I can fight for Him ✊ I will protect those who are living in fear, oppression, and are feeling weak. I will raise them up to be bold and unafraid in our Lord, Jesus Christ 😇


P: Lord of Heaven's Armies,

I am Your servant. I will be the soldier You created me to be so use me to fight Your battles. I will take the sword and shield You have gifted me with, and go forth to fight against the enemy. May I help others be mighty warriors too in Your Name. Raise up an army in this generation! May we conquer the land and expand Your Kingdom here on earth. Everyone in the land is living in terror. I pray that You continue to melt their hearts in fear so they can acknowledge You as the Supreme God of the heaven above and the earth below.

Upcoming Battle?

I have been having disturbing dreams lately 😣 I wish I could share what they were, but unfortunately do not remember them 😕 Fortunately I still remember what I dreamt last night, and it was not that disturbing 😌 The dream came across like an anime. At first things were normal, and I was hanging out with my friends. I seemed to be either in high school or college and going through the typical things students deal with. Then suddenly I either fell asleep, or willingly transported myself and my best friend into another place. It was in a spiritual realm and we were in a vast area that had multiple shelves full of books. There was another, more mature, person with us, and he was tasked to be like a guard. The Widow's Offering

Mark 12:41-44 NLT Jesus sat down near the collection box in the Temple and watched as the crowds dropped in their money. Many rich people put in large amounts.   Then a poor widow came and dropped in two small coins. Jesus called his disciples to him and said,  “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has given more than all the others who are making contributions.   For they gave a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she had to live on.” "For they gave a tiny  part of their surplus ..." How often do we give a tiny part of our surplus to others? Whenever I come across beggars I would like to give them a dollar to be a little generous. But see what I just said there? I said "a little  generous." It is like I am patting myself on the back for giving one dollar out the many dollars I have available.  How often do we do that with God?
